Hey friends! I’ve been out of the blogging scene for quite some time and I am so glad to be back! I’ve missed writing regularly and I’ve missed speaking with all of my blogging friends online! I would also like to say that I am beyond grateful that you have come to visit me in my new space at laurenap.com.
While you’re here, you’re welcome to register your email for blog updates each time I post a new one!
OH WAIT, that’s new too!
If case you weren’t aware, I was happily married on September 20th of 2014 and remain in just such bliss! Sheldon is the man of my prayers and I’m quite sure you’ll have more than one chance to sneak a peak into the lives of two love birds living life in a really real world. It’s not all perfect… but that’s the great part. It’s just us. So you can feel comfortable to share life with us any day of the week.
I’ve recently embarked on a life-long calling to be a full-time missionary! I do not know what tomorrow holds but I know who holds today, tomorrow, the next day… you get it. And I’m trusting Him with every day on mission for Him in this new way. I’ve connected with a grassroots organization called CODE ministries and have just launched a brand new campaign called BeLoved.
It’s not a full-time position in the bush of Papua New Guinea as I half expected my life to be but instead at the forefront of a movement for social change to see Gods children learn their identity as His BeLoved and to partner with established organizations worldwide who aid in that transformation! Based on 1 John 4:7, this movement is completely Spirit led and goal oriented! Check out our new page here.
Well, that’s all of the update for now although I know more will come out in blog posts over the next few months… years? Thanks again for stopping by!
Feel free when visiting my site to read a post with a cup of joe in hand, gaze over the gallery of pics, or even contact me with thoughts, questions, prayer requests! I’m so excited for 2015 and this next season of life. I’m not in it for it to be easy… just the complete will of God. Prayers appreciated as I step out as a new bride, sister, writer, choreographer, speaker, singer, missionary, and most importantly… daughter and BeLoved of the most high God.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.”
“Precious Jesus, I still can’t believe you died and were raised to life again for a sinner like me. You are so sweet to me. My life belongs to You. I’m Yours. It’s all for you. You are so worthy! Please, bring a YOU sized change to the world. Set people free and help them to see themselves as your BeLoved. Amen.”
